Mark Harris
Mark Harris has worked as a lawyer since leaving University in 1985 where he was awarded a Chemistry Honours Degree at Leeds University. He decided that the practical scientific basis in which he had trained could equally be applied to a career in Law. He therefore retrained, obtained a Law Degree and then qualified as a Solicitor.
Mark has worked in busy firms in the East End of London and in Essex since qualifying and has dealt with a wide range of client matters. He joined Sanders Witherspoon in 1996 and has built up and now heads the Civil Litigation Department which deals with a broad range of work in which the firm maintains a comprehensive level of expertise and success. This includes Personal Injury, Employment, complaints against Public Bodies and the Police, Debt Collection, Landlord and Tenant Problems and Housing.
Mark has been successfully involved in a number of high profile cases and with appeals that have led to reports not only in Law Journals but also on television, radio and in the National Press. His wide range of knowledge, coupled with his practical approach, has led to involvement in a number of high profile cases, which have not only brought this firm into the public eye, but have successfully resolved problems,which had appeared initially daunting for the Clients involved.
His personable approach with Clients has ensured that they have been undaunted by what can otherwise be very worrying periods of their lives.
