SENIOR CHARTERED LEGAL EXECUTIVE
Sue began her career in family law in 1988, initially specialising in domestic violence cases. Sue was involved in the setting up of the first multi disciplinary domestic abuse group in south east Essex involving Judges, police, , lawyers, women’s aid and social workers. From there she set up a legal advice clinic inside a local woman’s prison, assisting and advising women who had been convicted of serious violence offences against their abusers.
Sue was the press officer for Resolution Essex for many years and often gave radio and tv interviews on matters relating to family law. Sue has given talks and training to citizen advice bureaus, grandparents charities and advice clinics on family law issues
Sue has vast experience in all areas of family law from divorce, finances, especially high net worth clients with complex and challenging aspects to acting for parents and grandparents in children’s act proceedings. Sue qualified as a collaborative lawyer in 2006 and enjoys the challenge of trying to resolve matters without the need for court proceedings.
